A hot and hard weekend at Hawkstone Park for Troy Willerton and his TM Racing 2T 125 MX machine at round 3 of the 2023 Acerbis Nationals.

 

After competing the weekend previous in the British Masters, it was a short turnaround for the Willerton crew doing back-to-back events, traveling to the legendary Shropshire based circuit to do battle in this hotly contested full line-up of 125cc riders.

 

With 5 races on the program over the course of the 2 days it was intense action from-the-off for Troy, who had to work hard in every moto to make ground, unfortunately poor starts this weekend gave him a lot of work to do early-doors to get into the higher end of the points. A hard fall in one moto and then and a red-flag incident in another moto (best wishes to those involved) only added to the workload, but for his efforts after a weekend of great riding, Troy took a hard-earned 7th overall for the event and currently sits 5th in the championship standings.
