Round 1 of this seasons championship took place this past weekend at Preston Docks MX facility. The ‘new’ circuit was in good fettle, despite the inclement weather leading up to the event, but as expected it became rougher and tougher as the weekend went forwards.

 

After taking P3 in qualifying, Troy managed to bag a brace of decent starts to put himself at the sharp end of all 4 races from the get-go – albeit, not such a great one in race three, but a great first couple of corners soon put him back at the front end. After 4 tough races at only his second race meeting since the middle of last year, Troy took a well deserved 4th overall to put him likewise in the current championship standings.
